GOOD NEIGHBOR HOUSE - Miamisburg is one of several Adventist churches in the Dayton area who co-sponsor Good Neighbor House, an inner city ministry located at 627 East First St, in Dayton. More volunteer help is always welcome. For more information about GNH, call 224-3003 or visit www.goodneighborhouse.org. Items to consider donating: Cooking supplies, pots and pans, can openers, bath towels, bedding, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, laundry detergent and personal items. Canned items: soups, fruits, sauces, pastas, cereals, crackers. Seasonal clothing is always needed. A donation box is located in the fellowship hall.
HELPING HANDS - The Miamisburg Seventh-day Adventist Church is one of 12 Miamisburg area churches who help support the Miamisburg Helping Hands food pantry. Our church staffs the food pantry each September. Phone number 937-866-9323.
MIAMISBURG HOMELESS BAG PROJECT - Toothbrushes, deodorants, washcloths, towels, razors and other personal items are always needed for this well received project. Please mark donated items “Miamisburg Homeless Bag Project,” and give to Sylvia Kaldahl. Monetary donations should be marked “Homeless Bag Project” on offering envelopes.
