Miamisburg church joins other area churches at historic
anniversary
celebration at the Kettering Seventh-day Adventist Church at the corner of
Stroop Rd and Southern Boulevard. No church services will take place
at Miamisburg on May 10 so all can join in the celebration at Kettering. The
celebration
will take place on the lawn behind the Kettering Adventist Church and across
the
street from Kettering Medical Center. The 2,400 seat clear span auditorium
will be the site for this noteworthy event.
Guest speakers including General
Conference President Jan Paulsen.
Enjoy the music of Take 6, the Heritage Singers, and Ponder, Harp &
Jennings.
Adults will meet in the 2400-person
tent by the Kettering Church.
Kindergarten, Primary, Juniors (Kettering College Gymnasium 9:00 a.m.)
Earliteen, Youth, Young Adults (Sanctuary, 9:00 am)
Lunch will be available for those
with meal tickets ordered by April 25
An offering will be taken

again will serve up a special breakfast to honor all the women. Come
to the church early on Sabbath morning, May 17, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and

18. Bring your friends and join in the fun at Indian Trails
miniature golf at 11:00 a.m. Group Rate is $2.50 per course, $5 for both

from all local SDA churches for the 2008-2009 school year at Spring Valley

May 18. Visit to the Dayton Aviation Heritage
national Historic Park on Sunday, May 18. Meet at the Kettering Seventh-day
Adventist Church parking lot at 9:30 a.m. to carpool. At the park, a
National Park Service Ranger will lead an hour-long walking tour of the
historic area. This will be followed by a visit to the Interpretive Center,
Wright cycle Co., and Parachute Museum. The visit to this National Park site
will conclude around 12:30 p.m. An optional extension will be lunch
at the Spaghetti Warehouse in downtown Dayton. To participate in this event,

at Sycamore Glen on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.

located in the church against the far wall of the fellowship hall.

Single Mom's
Camp...
June 29-July 6, 2008, at Camp Mohaven in Danville, Ohio. You work hard,
so it is time for a reward. Come be pampered at Single Mom's Camp while the
staff provides your kids with a wonderful summer vacation. Information and
registration forms are available at the greeter's table in the foyer.

Sermons on CD...Copies of the sermon are recorded and available
at the audio/video booth. Feel free to share God's word with everyone. If you
would like to support the CD ministry, you may do so by making a donation and
marking it "CD Ministry" on the offering envelope.
Hearing Assistance...A hearing assistance receiver is
available in the sanctuary if needed by asking the greeter or the sound
technician.
